Sealed to IP-67 standards the Gladius GT-500 is resistant to dust, water and extreme temperatures from -15°C ~ 55°C (5°F ~ 131°F). It can operate in conditions where it is exposed to constant shock and vibration and withstanding up to 1.5 m (5 ft) of multiple drops to concrete. As such the GT-500 a certified for use in hazardous environments and demanding working conditions.

Wireless Connectivity

Powered by an Android™ 5.1 operating system, a highly efficient MTK MT6735 Cortex-A53 Quad Core CPU, the GT-500 provides high speed wireless wide-area network connectivity for real-time communication.

In addition to Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, & 3G to ensure reliable data communication; GT-500 also comes equipped with worldwide modem capabilities over multiple frequency bands including 4G LTE bands.

The GT-500 is offered with a number of accessories which have been designed to significantly increase the number of applications that the GT-500 can address. These include a Pistol Grip with trigger for convenient barcode reading, Desktop and In-Vehicle Docking Stations, hand and shoulder straps and waist holster.

An integrated RFID reader & optional ultra slim 1D/2D barcode scanner allow users to accurately capture data. Combined with the Pistol Grip, this makes it quicker and easier for operatives to read 1d or 2d barcodes in the warehouse or out in the field.
